Introducing Therapeutic Yoga for Healthy Hips and Shoulders, a 6-week online group program designed to help you move better, relieve aches and pains, and enhance your overall well-being.

Led by Sheryl Pratt, a qualified Yoga Therapist specialising in biomechanics, injury prevention, restorative yoga, and self-myofascial massage techniques, this program offers a personalised approach to improving your body’s function.

You will learn:

  • How to move without triggering pain using a nervous system-friendly approach.

  • The mind-body connection that will help you understand what your pain is really trying to tell you.

  • Techniques to release tightness and create mobility in your hips and shoulders—no more feeling stiff.

  • How to use breathwork, gentle movement, and self-myofascial release to calm your nervous system and reset your body’s natural movement patterns.

What you can Expect

Over the course of six weeks, you’ll engage in:

• Personalized Yoga Sequences: Tailored movements that focus on releasing tension and building strength in the hips and shoulders.

• Self-Myofascial Release Techniques: Learn to use the Roll Model® Method to perform self-massage, alleviating tightness and improving tissue health.

• Breathing Exercises: Enhance your breathing function to support overall relaxation and body awareness.

• Deep Relaxation Practices: Incorporate restorative yoga and guided relaxation to reduce stress and promote healing.

Program Details

• Duration: 6 weeks starting 10.30am Wednesday 23rd April 2025

• Format: Weekly live sessions via Zoom, each lasting 60 minutes

• Additional Support: Access to recorded sessions, supplementary materials, and a community forum for ongoing guidance

• Early Bird price £60 for first 5 sign-ups/ £75 after (First 3 sign ups will receive a bonus 1-1 session with Sheryl)

• Equipment: You will need access to a yoga mat, yoga block, yoga belt, tennis ball or Yoga Tune up ball, Chair, Blankets and pillows (These are not provided as part of the course price)
